What will you do?

As a Mechanical Technician Rotating, you are responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, static equipment and valves. You work both independently and in close cooperation with colleagues and external contractors.

Your responsibilities include:

• Resolving malfunctions and performing emergency repairs when these are not carried out by contractors;

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, fans and motors;

• Performing maintenance and troubleshooting on valves, rotating equipment and static equipment;

• Carrying out larger maintenance activities during planned shutdowns, such as dismantling, assembling, replacing and adjusting components;

• Maintenance and fault analysis of larger rotating machines and pumps, including connection, testing, commissioning and decommissioning;

• Supervising and checking contractors and inspecting completed work;

• Preparing and executing workshop activities, including manufacturing and processing parts using hand tools and machine tools;

• Recording completed work and reports in the system;

• Proactively suggesting technical improvements to the supervisor;

• Working in accordance with work permits, safety procedures and applicable guidelines.

• Salary scale ORBA 8: €3,877 – €4,738 gross per month;

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced technician who takes safety seriously and feels comfortable in an industrial maintenance environment.

You recognise yourself in the following profile:

• You have an MTS level of education and are willing to follow additional training;

• You have approximately 7 years of experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role (rotating equipment);

• You are comfortable working with computers and preparing basic reports;

• Safety is your top priority and you hold a VCA Full certificate;

• You are fluent in Dutch and/or English;

• You have strong problem-solving skills and are able to assess risks effectively;

• You take initiative, enjoy working in a team and have a proactive attitude;

• You have experience with centrifugal compressors, pumps and other rotating machinery;

• You have proficiency in alignment tools and condition monitoring technology.
